Mariela Encarnacion is co-anchor for Showbiz, a virtual roundtable where they report and debate on the most talked-about and controversial entertainment news of the day.
In 2013, Mariela received the Premio Soberano (Sovereign Award) as Best Communicator Abroad, granted annually by the Association of Art Critics of the Dominican Republic.
Encarnacion began her television career in Dominican Republic in 1998 alongside with musician Juan Luis Guerra through his channel Mango TV, where she had the opportunity to present numerous television shows, quickly becoming one of the relevant local figures. In 2000 she had the chance to be part of the show Sabado Gigante broadcasted by Univision, where Encarnacion worked as a model and co-anchor next to the host, Don Francisco, for two years.
Born in Dominican Republic, has lived in Mexico. She speaks English, Spanish, and is studying Italian.
