“One of my earliest memories is of a life-risking climb up a bookcase to get to the stereo,” says Pat McKay. So, she has pretty much always wanted to be in control of the music wherever she is. She’s not just a DJ, by the way. She also programs The Joint, choosing all the great music you hear.

Hussey is co-author of Bob Marley: Reggae King of the World and producer of the Marley interview on Marley’s album Talkin’ Blues. Hussey was awarded a Musgrave Medal and the prestigious Jamaican award for services to media and music. He was also inducted into the Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Hall of Fame.

Jabba’s passion for reggae had him sneaking into Kingston dance halls at age 10. Now he’s one of the most recognizable promoters of reggae culture. His annual birthday party Jabba Strikes Back is attended by thousands of supporters and the most talented reggae artists of each year.
