Patricia Janiot is CNN en Español's main presenter. Janiot joined CNN in 1992 and leads Panorama Mundial, an award-winning program in 2014 with the Emmy Award for Best Spanish-Language News, which puts international events in perspective; and Nuestro Mundo, the current appointment to find out about stories that are news.
In 1990, Janiot won a Golden Mike Award for Best Newscast from the Southern California Radio and Television Association. She was named to the Hispanic Media 100, an annual recognition of the most influential Hispanic journalists and news executives in the United States, won an INTE (Spanish Television Industry) award for "Best Female News Personality."
Janiot is the president of the "Colombianitos" foundation, dedicated to helping children affected by violence in Colombia. In 2014, Patricia received the Emmy ™ award for the "Panorama Mundial" newscast in the category of Best News or Spanish-language magazine and a nomination for the same award in the category of Best Personality in Television.
